Ruggables and washable rugs
Washable rugs, cleaned and sanitized
Ruggables and other washable rugs of almost any size, delivered back within a week or less.
A washable rug still holds the grit
Washable rugs are sold on a simple promise: toss it in the machine. That works until the rug is too big for the machine, too heavy to wrestle, or too far gone for a home cycle. Underneath the promise, a Ruggable collects the same grit, pet hair and spills as any rug on the floor.
The rugs that need cleaning most are in the busiest rooms: the kitchen runner, the entry, the kid's room, the corner where the dog sleeps. Those are exactly the ones that are awkward to carry to a laundromat.

Cleaned and sanitized, at almost any size
Spectrum cleans and sanitizes Ruggables and other washable rugs of almost any size. Size is the usual reason a washable rug stays dirty, and it is the reason this service exists: a big rug does not have to fit your washer to get a proper clean.
Because the rug leaves your home, it is also out of the way of the furniture, the pets and the foot traffic while it is being handled. For details on your particular rug, the office in Frederick can talk through size and fabric by phone.
Back within a week or less
The turnaround is the point. Ruggables and washable rugs are delivered back within a week or less, so the room is not bare for long, and the rug that comes home has been cleaned and sanitized rather than just rinsed.
If the rug is wool or an heirloom rather than a washable, the better fit is the warehouse process on the area rugs page. Not sure which yours is? Call (301) 662-8200 and describe it.
Spectrum's IICRC-certified technicians clean and sanitize washable rugs for homes across Frederick County. Call (301) 662-8200 to book one in.
A week or less

Washable rugs often share a room with other jobs. Pair them with a carpet cleaning, send a wool or oriental rug through the area rug process, or ask about pet odor control. Everything Spectrum does is listed on the services page.
